This describes what personal data Interactive Lessons collects, why, and how it is used. We are a small platform and only collect what we need to run your courses.

What we collect. Account information (name, email, username), your course progress and answers — including open-text translations, since these are checked to give you feedback — and basic technical data (login times, browser/device info) needed to run the site securely.

Why we collect it. To give you access to your courses, track your progress and unlock lessons in order, calculate your points (XP) and level, give you feedback on your answers, and process payment for paid courses.

AI processing. Your open-text answers (translations, written responses) are sent to an AI service to generate your feedback. This is used only to support your learning, not for any other purpose.

Payments. Payment details are handled directly by our payment provider, Mollie; we never see or store your full payment details ourselves.

Who we share data with. We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers who help us run the site — such as hosting, AI feedback, and payment processing — under agreements that protect your data.

Data retention. We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active, so your progress is not lost. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

Your rights (GDPR). If you are in the EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to ask what we hold about you. Contact contact@interactivelessons.nl for any of this.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences, such as language and light/dark mode.
